This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and retain your personal data when you use our website (https://tavanne.com) and our mobile application (hereinafter the "Service").
3. Data Collected
We collect and process the following data:
- Contact information: last name, first name, email address, date of birth, phone number.
- Delivery address: complete postal address (street, city, postal code, country, delivery instructions).
- Login data: credentials used for account creation (email/password, or Google/Facebook authentication).
- Usage data: browsing history, interactions with the Service.
- Social media data: when you link your Instagram account, we collect your username, follower count, number of posts, account type (Business/Creator), and profile picture.
4. Social Media Connection (Instagram)
When you link your Instagram account to TAVANNE, we collect the following data via the Instagram API:
- Username (@handle)
- Follower count
- Number of posts
- Account type (Business/Creator)
- Profile picture
This information is used solely to verify your identity and validate your legitimacy as a content creator (UGC). We never post content on your behalf and do not access your private messages. We do not share your Instagram data with third parties.
You can unlink your Instagram account at any time from the app settings. Upon disconnection, your Instagram data is deleted from our servers. You can also revoke access directly from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites → TAVANNE → Remove).
5. Methods of Collection
Your data is collected when:
- You fill out the registration form or update your profile.
- You browse and interact with our website or application.
- You link your Instagram account to TAVANNE.
- You participate in a drop and provide your delivery address.
- We receive information from public sources or authorized partners.
6. Purposes of Processing
We use your data to:
- Create and manage your user account.
- Verify your identity and validate your legitimacy as a content creator.
- Deliver products to drop winners (address and phone number).
- Send you marketing and promotional communications (with your consent).
- Collect your feedback and process your returns.
- Display targeted advertisements.
- Manage comments between users (moderation, responses).
For any other purpose, we will request your prior consent.
7. Data Sharing
Your data will never be transmitted to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:
- Service providers (advertising, analytics) who act on our behalf and under our direction. They may only use your data for the agreed purpose and must delete it once that purpose is fulfilled.
- Delivery partners: your address and phone number may be transmitted to our logistics partners to ensure product delivery.
- Legal obligations: in the event of a court order, a claim for violation of third-party rights, or a requirement from competent authorities.
- Merger or acquisition: in the event of restructuring, your data may be among the transferred assets.
Your Instagram data is never shared with third parties.
8. Retention Period
Your data is retained:
- Active account: as long as your account is open.
- Instagram data: until you unlink your Instagram account or delete your TAVANNE account.
- Delivery addresses: as long as your account is active or until manual deletion.
- After closure: from 90 days to 2 years following account deletion, depending on the purpose (dispute management, legal obligations).
- Anonymized data: unlimited retention in pseudonymized or aggregated form.
9. Your Rights
In accordance with applicable legislation (Swiss law and, for French users, the Consumer Code and GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection to the processing of your data.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time.
- Right to unlink your Instagram account at any time.
- Right to delete your delivery addresses at any time.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Switzerland: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner; in France: CNIL).

11. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against destruction, loss, or unauthorized access. However, absolute security on the Internet does not exist; you use the Service at your own risk.
12. Policy Amendments
We may update this Policy at any time without notice. The revised version will be published on the Service and will take effect 180 days after publication. We encourage you to review it regularly.
